10th grade Conference Information

In accordance with IUSD guidelines, Woodbridge High School will be holding 10th Grade Planning Conferences for all sophomores. These conferences are an important opportunity to bring together parents, students, and school staff as partners in supporting each student’s journey through high school and beyond. By reviewing your student’s academic progress and discussing their future goals, we can work together to create an individualized plan that sets the path toward graduation and post-secondary success.

Your scheduled conference date and time will be provided to you in a letter mailed home approximately 2 weeks prior to the conference. Please note, we are unable to reschedule conference dates and times. However, if you are unable to attend, your student should still plan to participate. You are also welcome to reach out to your student’s assigned counselor with any questions following the conference.

During the 10th Grade Planning Conference, counselors will present key information about:

High School Graduation Requirements

College and Career Planning (including UC, CSU, Dual Enrollment and Financial Aid Resources)

Counselors will also assist students in reviewing transcripts and collaborate on developing a four-year academic plan tailored to each student’s post–high school goals. If your student misses a class period while they are attending the conference,  they will be excused on school business.  If absent, it is the responsibility of your student to follow up with their teacher and reschedule any missed exams or classwork.

Please note, conferences will occur in-person. Be on the lookout for your family’s personal invitation letter throughout the months of September - February.  We look forward to meeting with you.
