10th grade Conference Information

In accordance with IUSD guidelines, Woodbridge High School will conduct 10th grade planning conferences with each tenth grade family.  High school and post high school planning are a team effort involving the parent, student and school.  A review of your student's past academic performance and a definition of your student's future goals will help to develop an appropriate plan toward graduation.

The 10th grade planning conference will consist of 2 parts.  The first half of the conference will be a presentation of general information about high school graduation requirements, college and career planning, (including UC, CSU, and other college entrance requirements and the current climate of college admissions), as well as an overview of available resources to help pay for college.  The second half of the conference will include a review of student personal transcripts and an opportunity to discuss and create a 4 year academic plan of classes under your counselor’s guidance and based on your student’s self-identified post high school goals.
