WARRIOR WELCOME WEEK
This is intended for students who selected the Hybrid Model. A separate email was sent for students who selected the Irvine Virtual Academy.
We are excited to welcome our new and returning students to Woodbridge High School. In this letter, you will find information regarding our Data Confirmation process for the 2020-2021 school year, which is now available online through Parent Portal. This must be completed before your student attends Re-Registration next week.

Health Condition Information Form and Ticket to Registration.
Although a parent/ guardian is not required to attend registration, this year we are limiting the number of people attending registration to one adult family member per student.

If your student cannot attend their assigned registration date, please make arrangements to come in during the scheduled make-up registration day.

New Student Orientation – Welcome to our newest Warriors! Our virtual New Student Orientation will be on Wednesday, August 12th at 12 noon. Look for a letter in the mail this week with more information and instructions on accessing the virtual event (a copy of the letter is available here as well.)

STUDENT COURSE REQUESTS / SCHEDULE CHANGES
Student course requests are now available to view on Parent Portal. We encourage all families to review them immediately for accuracy. If you have a schedule change request, please submit your request through the link below. NOTE: Counselors will not be a part of the registration process. You must use the link below to make any schedule change prior to the first day of school.

If you have course “9832 – See Your Cnslr” listed as a course request it is because there is either an error in your schedule or your counselor needs to speak with you. If you see this course, please email your counselor directly with “See Your Counselor” in the subject line and they will respond back to you with further clarification. REGISTRATION
This next week is our annual student registration. In order to create maximum distance between participants and avoid lines we have broken up registration times by last name, in 30-minute intervals. Students will not be allowed to participate during times outside of these windows. If you cannot make your designated time, we will be holding a make-up registration on Tuesday, August 18th.

REGISTRATION PROCESS
Please use the map below to identify the location of each step in the registration process. Students must be present at registration in order to take a picture for their school ID. Although a parent/guardian is not required, we are limiting the number of people on campus to one adult per student during registration. Masks will be required by all people in attendance, and all lines will be marked to ensure participants are 6 feet apart. All WHS staff members will be wearing protective gear and interacting with students through “pass-through” windows or Plexiglas barriers.
Descriptions of each step are listed below and correspond with the number on the map.
- Turn in your Health Condition Form and Ticket to Registration.
- If applicable, turn in hard copies of PTSA or Grad Night Forms www.WoodbridgePTSA.org
- Pick up spirit wear and planners (must be pre-purchased on https://woodbridge.myschoolcentral.com )
- Take photo for ID card and yearbook
- Access courses from your device and submit schedule change request https://forms.gle/Cu11ajR4dwLNA9m29
- Textbook and Chromebook checkout
WHAT IS DIFFERENT ABOUT REGISTRATION THIS YEAR
- All students can check out a Chromebook to use at home.
- We are limiting the amount of people on campus.
- No money will be exchanged during registration (you must pre-purchase optional items and make donations before your arrival).
- You must complete data confirmation before your arrival (there will be limited access to computers).
- You will not pick up your schedule.
- Counselors will not be a part of the registration process.
- You must wear a mask when you come for registration. Students will be allowed to take it off only when they have their picture taken.
WHAT IS NOT DIFFERENT ABOUT REGISTRATION THIS YEAR
- You will still turn in your printed and signed forms (Ticket to Registration, Health Conditions, PTSA & Boosters - see Parent Portal).
- You will be able to pick up your spirit wear and planner.
- You will get your textbooks.
- You will have your photo taken for your ID card and the yearbook.
