This year, WHS has 7 National Merit Semifinalists! They are Matthew Chang, Layne Funston, Alex Lim, Alyssa Lu, Sukruti Pamarti (not pictured), Charlotte Pham, and Derrick Wong.
These semifinalists scored in the top 1% of the approximately 1.3 million 11th grade students from about 21,000 high schools who took the PSAT exam. Our outstanding scholars will now go on to compete for National Merit Finalist standing and approximately 6,800 National Merit Scholarships to be awarded next Spring. Congratulations to our Warrior Semifinalists!
