The students below are National Merit Semifinalists who scored in the top 1% of California students on the PSAT last Fall. These students can now choose to enter the National Merit Scholarship competition with the possibility of receiving scholarship recognition. The WHS National Merit Semifinalists are: Avery Ferrero, Nathan Gov, Brandon Kim, Amber Peng, Nicholas Suh, and Deena Sun.
